ANNUAL CO-OP SPRING CLEAN UP

Saturday, April 29, 2017

9:00 a.m.

All members are reminded that participation in the clean up is required of every member, barring reasons of ill health or work.

The Co-op will provide bags and cleaning items and the Social Committee will be providing hot dogs, Tim Bits and coffee/water, after the clean up.

** It should be noted that every year after clean up, I get e-mails and calls from members who have been out and cleaned up common areas and their yards.  They call because they are upset about those who either don’t clean up: sign in and do nothing or drive out just as clean up starts.

Your neighbours notice those who participates and those who do not – especially those who do not!
 Co-op Garage Sale & BBQ – May 13, 2017

Setup on 235 (if you would like).  We will be restricting access to 235 for members only.  We would like garage sale shoppers to park on Manse Road.
DUCT CLEANING

The Board discussed the matter of duct cleaning, as promised.

At this time, you are aware that it is not in the approved budget, but we obtained pricing should you be individually interested.

The best price is $145.00** plus tax to clean all the ducts and dryer vent in a unit.  There must a minimum of 20 units to get this price.

We will be giving consideration to duct cleaning in the future.

If you are interested in in having your ducts cleaned, please either drop off a note to the office or e-mail the office at     [email protected]
VISITOR – GARBAGE HUT AND FIRE ROUTE PARKING

This continues to be a problem and members are calling the office wanting something done so people park appropriately in visitor parking – don’t park in the garbage huts and don’t park in the fire route.

This should be a pretty straight forward matter and people should be able to regulate themselves and their visitors.

Members are not to use visitor passes in any vehicle they drive – ever.

No one should park on the fire route.

No one should park in the garbage huts.
Please be aware of the following changes to our new bylaws:

– The Participation policy is to be repealed, as per Bylaw 7.

– The Membership policy will now become a bylaw. CHFT is in the process of putting together a new model for this, and we will bring it to the members when it is ready.
